Great location. Basic amenities, rustic, clean bathroom, comfortable bed and linens. Living area, carpet are fairly clean. Prices reasonable, about $310 on weekends, $210 during week. Lake Tahoe across the street; excellent restaurants in walking distance, wonderful walks along the northwest Tahoe shoreline. I had some trouble with the TV which was fixed perfectly in a timely fashion by the manager. I wish the young people serving behind the desk would smile , fairly sour. Such servitude: at Lake Tahoe, during the summer, with perfect weather as a young person…bummer! I would consider staying there again.

Great little place in the heart of Tahoe City! We arrived early and they got us into our room no problem. The only downside was the carpet in our room- definitely needed an upgrade, especially since they allow pets. Other than that the place is darling!

Overall my wife and I really liked this hotel. It’s very quiet and comfortable. The common areas are nice and the happy hour beer selection was great. Our only complaint is that the carpet in our room was very dirty and in need of a good shampooing. We wore our flip flops instead of walking barefoot. With all the positive things here, I was surprised by the filthy carpet. Hopefully that will change in the future.

Lovely place to stay. Beds were comfortable, and they arranged a very late check in for us. Common areas were very cute and location was great! Price is reasonable as well.

I loved the s’mores available in the office to go alongside the various campfires. It was a nice end to our evenings to go out and have s’more by the fire and visit. The hotel was quiet. The rooms were fine other than one smelling a little moldy, but the other room was perfectly fine. There were spaces to hangout and spend time, me made use of one of the rooms for play time with our kiddo. There Is a coffee place across the street so being walking distance to that was great considering their espresso machine in the office was down.

Super awesome little hotel right in the heart of downtown Tahoe city! Walkable to everything and nice parking. Very cozy rooms and lobby where you can get a beer, roast some s’mores on one of their fire pits, and you can even get a sneak peak of the lake from some of their rooms! Awesome place and will be coming back.

Perfect location — just a few steps from the lake and right next to a shopping center . The room? Huge and spotless — you could probably play mini golf in there if you wanted. And the shower… oh my goodness, the shower! Three pressure modes, pure joy. Finally, not one of those tragic bathtubs where no sane person would ever attempt to “take a bath.” Whoever designed this shower deserves a medal. Plus, the bathroom window actually opens (hello, fresh mountain air! ). Reception was great — friendly staff, offered us hot water and tea right away . The walls are thick (a rare blessing!) so no noisy neighbors or chilly drafts . The bed was big, clean, and the pillows — chef’s kiss — soft but supportive. I take my pillow comfort seriously, and these passed the test! If I had to nitpick: there was a pretty strong smell coming from the bathroom when we first checked in — maybe from the detergent? Would love it if they switched to something unscented. Overall: comfy, cozy, and we’re definitely coming back. Highly recommend!
